Purchasing Class 3 Firearms
Prince Law Offices, P.C. — Serving Pennsylvania
The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution says that "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
Congress, in recent years, has said otherwise and has taken steps to restrict purchases of certain types of firearms.
Gun trusts allow individuals to acquire what the National Firearms Act (NFA) terms "Title II firearms." Examples of Title II NFA firearms include machine guns, short-barreled rifles or shotguns, destructive devices and suppressors (silencers) Gun trusts allow individuals to purchase these firearms without photographs, fingerprints or a chief law enforcement officer (CLEO) signature.
Many CLEOs refuse to sign for otherwise eligible gun owners. In these cases, gun trusts provide you with a legal alternative.
